Sometimes to avoid joins, if the drop of the Curtain/Blind allow and it works with the pattern and grain of the fabric, you can use a fabric sideways. We call this railroading fabric. It can also save wasting fabric with blinds.

The Busy Bee Dove Jaqueline Milton fabric we recently had in the workshop was a prime candidate for this except the Bees on the pattern would have been facing the wrong way (sideways - looking to the side not to the top)

NOT a problem though, as Jaqueline Milton (Who is lovely to deal with) printed the pattern sideways so we could railroad it.

Also including in this Jaqueline Milton order was her Wisteria Warm Saffron Fabric. Lovely!!
